Property Description: Privateers is nestled on a gorgeous, treed, waterfront acreage that overlooks the expansive Stanley River on the north shore of PEI and treats its guests to loads of peaceful privacy. Walk down the back lawn, past the stone bonfire pit, to a short set of stairs that lead directly to the water and red sand shore. With such private and easy access to the water, you also have the use of two kayaks (and life vests) for memorable paddles on the river. The other very popular feature of this property is its close proximity to the world-famous Cavendish Resort, gorgeous beaches, Anne of Green Gables House, world-class golf and excellent dining!
The custom-designed summer home, located in Stanley Bridge, offers 4 bedrooms (sleeps 10 in beds) and 3.5 baths. It has AC in the open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, in the master bedroom and in the second floor queen bedroom.
The main floor is spacious and well laid out with an open-concept kitchen/dining/living area that overlooks the water through many large windows…flooding the space with natural light. The beautiful kitchen offers more than enough prep space, a large island for additional seating, quality appliances, loads of storage and every cooking amenity you’d require for vacation meals. The dining area has a solid wood table, a cozy spot for curling up with a great book and access to the large waterfront deck. You’ll find a comfy sofa and chairs in the living room, a large TV and great views. Off the living area is access to the waterfront master bedroom with a king bed, full ensuite, AC and a walk-in closet. This floor is complete with a second full bathroom (including two vanities), laundry, a half bath and expansive decks that overlook the water and are comfortably furnished for your outdoor living and cooking enjoyment!
Another large bedroom with AC, a queen bed and sitting area can be found on the second floor.
Take the beautiful stairway to the lower walk-out floor where you’ll find a sizeable family room with a sectional sofa, large TV, bright windows and door access to the back porch and lawn. This level also offers two additional bedrooms – the first with a queen bed and the second family bedroom with a queen and double bed. There is also a full bathroom on this floor to accommodate both bedrooms.
The cottage is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a full-size washer and dryer, wifi, bed linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, a propane BBQ, a custom bonfire pit and kayaks.

Area: Miles and miles of
sandy beaches link along the North Shore of PEI to
create a pristine vacation environment. Luckily, Privateers is located conveniently close to the North Shore oasis, yet far
enough away for you to enjoy your 'own little place' on the Island.
The allure of this area is endless. The water sport activities are
an adventure, the fine and casual dining is hard to beat and the
artisan shops are everywhere. And don't forget the lobster suppers,
a can't-miss PEI experience.
Be sure to pack your golf clubs, since the North Shore in Anne's
Land is proud to boast more than 11 courses located within a 20-minute
drive. For more family oriented fun there is the new Shining Waters
Family Fun Park, the Sandspit Amusement Park and the new sprawling
federal Eco-Park (on the old Rainbow Valley property).
The North Shore is known as an area of great scenic beauty. This
is the countryside that Lucy Maud Montgomery described in her books,
and it has changed little since 'Anne of Green Gables' was first
published, nearly 100 years ago. Fun for all, picturesque and full
of adventure - that's the North Shore of Prince Edward Island. |
